FC Westchester will be conducting tryouts for its U17 U.S. Development Academy Developmental Team on Sunday, September 14 and Sunday, September 21 from 10:30 a.m. to noon at the club’s SUNY Purchase Soccer Complex.  The tryouts are for those born between August 1, 1991 and July 31, 1993.

Players selected will be eligible to serve as Developmental Players for the club’s Development Academy teams and possibly be called up to those Academy teams. Team will also attend college showcases and take part in a premier league.

Also, tryouts for the club’s U15 boys premier team will be held at SUNY Purchase on Saturday, October 18 from 2 to 3:30 p.m., Sunday October 19 from 9:30 to 11 a.m. and on Saturday, October 25th from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.  This team is for those born between 8/1/1993 and 7/31/1994.

For both tryouts, registration is done on-site at the tryout.  There is no advance registration necessary.  For directions to the field, go to the directions link at this website.

Tryouts for FC Westchester’s ’94 Boys team (U15 Boys) will be held on October 18th, 19th and 25th at the club’s soccer complex at SUNY Purchase.  On October 18th and 25th the tryout will be held at 2 p.m.  On October 19th, the tryout will be held at 9:30 p.m.

Tryout registration will take place at the field on the day of the tryouts.  There is no advance registration necessary.

FC Westchester holds open tryouts each year for all our teams. Tryouts are usually held in mid-May into early June for our younger teams teams. Tryouts for our older teams are usually conducted in the Fall, around the middle of October through early November. 

Tryouts happen each year, and allow teams to replace players who have dropped off or who have moved on. Tryouts also provide ambitious. talented players, not currently with FC Westchester, the chance to join a stronger, more competitive club like FC Westchester. 

The announcement of our tryouts will be made via this website. Player selections are made without regard to race, religion, creed, color, national or ethnic origin.
